To be used  as a wake service when celebrating
the  life of a deceased Secular Franciscan

Transitus
St Francis of Assisi died on the evening
of the 3rd October 1226. 
It has long been a pious tradition
of prayer and devotion for Franciscans to keep this night
as a remembrance of his passing (transitus) to God.
