Well4Africa Project: Information about OFS Canada's social initiative

In the beginning of 2020, the National JPIC Team of the Secular Franciscan Order in Canada decided to help our brothers and sisters in Africa by joining the CIOFS initiative led by the national fraternity of Lithuania. Even under the circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic which made a mess of world economies, health services, and personal freedoms, the Secular Franciscans of Canada have showed their ability to contribute to this social initiative above anyone’s expectations. The fundraising was intended for a particular Mutemwa water project at the leprosy care centre in Zimbabwe.
